Well, it is the end of the first week of my summer vacation and I am bored already. I have been trying to scrapbook alot. My days seemed to be filled with Macy, Macy, and more Macy. It is great, but after awhile, there are only so many things to do with a 2 month old baby. I have been shopping alot this week for toys, and I shouldn't do that anymore. I think I have bought most every toy that she could possibly stare at and be somewhat interested in. I have even resorted to buying finger puppets-and I hate puppets-BUT, she seems to like them, so that is all that matters.
During the day, we spend our time playing, reading, on the tummy, and in the morning and evening we go outside to listen to the birds, the sprinkler, the wind chime, and the neighborhood. Macy seems to like that-she turns her head from side to side the entire time we are out there.
To fight the boredom, I have had to make a list of things that I want to accomplish during the week. By the end of the weekend, I should have my desk cleaned off and the papers around our house organized.
I signed up for Jenny Craig again. My first appointment back is tomorrow. I am going to do a modified plan-eat the snacks, breakfasts, lunches, and of course desserts. Chris wants to eat the dinners as his lunch-since we like to eat dinner together. If I can keep my dinner calories low and eat minimal carbs, it should work (and if I am excercising too).
Well, Macy is starting to fuss in her crib. Adios!
