Vegas

Well, we got back from Vegas about two weeks ago, and I haven't written about it. I did do a scrapbook page on it though-most of the money we won though paid for Nina's pet bills. We decided not to stay at the MGM again when we go back around Thanksgiving-we didn't like the "modern" style rooms. They weren't very inviting.

As for life in general, it is fairly busy. Grades are due this week, so I have been doing a lot of work at school. I have to enter the tutoring information, so I can get paid at the end of June. I have about 20 days left and I can't wait.

Speaking of can't wait, I heard from North today. I get my emergency certificate through the end of this year, so that is good. I just gotta get all my paperwork in though now and register for classes.

Chris and I bought some furniture this last weekend. We bought a bed set with a dresser and end tables, 2 new couches, a TV stand, and now we have to find a coffee and end table, decoration, and a floor rug. It was fun at first, but after ten hours of looking and three visits to Pruitts, we were exhausted.

Started making my own scrapbook kit. Audra showed me how. Since I have DIP, it is a little difficult to figure out the different commands, and some of the tutorials I have found aren't that great, but its kinda fun. It is kinda ugly, but, it is good practice at least.

Got my hair cut short-about to my chin. It looks pretty cute-everyone seems to like it too. I have also signed up for a manicure at the same salon for this Friday (its a four day weekend). Hopefully they do a great job. Not sure what I am going to have done yet.
