Here is a picture of Macy I took at 6 months. At this point in time, she could turn pages of books, she started to make the "gaa" sound. She squeals and screams when she is playing and having fun. She has tried veges, fruits, and cereals and she likes them all! She is into 6 month clothes, but the jeans at 6 months are a bit long for her yet. At her 6 month immunizations, she weiged 15lbs, 10oz. She ate approximately 2-3 tablespoons for a meal, and 4-6 oz of milk. By the end of 6 months, she was also starting to eat little "cookies" by herself! She grabs the spoon when she eats, and she is trying to stand up-she can hold her own weight while standing for about 3 minutes or so. She LOVES to bounce! This is a cute picture, because this was her first time playing in the kitchen and discovering the pots, pans, and utensils.
Today was interesting when she was at Mimi's. I guess she went poop and it came out of her diaper and went all over the carpet, in her hair, face, and of course her mouth. Mimi wasn't sure how much she had (probably not much), but its official: she ate her own poop! How nasty is that? And here I thought I had to worry about the kitty litter.
School is going well. I got my new intern this week. She comes about twice a week. I played in the staff versus student volleyball game today-didn't do too bad considering. Some of my students bought some books for me at the book fair this week. Very cool!
I got an A on my first history graduate paper-yay! Now I have to write a big response one here before Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, Macy is going to be a peapod. We borrowed the costume from Jeff and Audra.
I have been super lazy otherwise. I only ran once this week, and I have been super tired and I haven't slept well this week.
Well, off to write my paper!
